Product Details

As we reimagined the V3 version of our H2O pedal, it became important for us to try to manifest in this pedal, at least some concept of the rudimentary aspects of this amazing elixir that surrounds us and is an integral element of everyones bathroom and kitchen. Our hope was to attempt to capture the ebb and flow, the rhythms, the echoes and subtle nuance that make up the sonic composition of how our ears perceive liquid moving in the natural world around us and then apply it to an electric guitar signal (or acoustic guitar, or bass, or keyboard, or whatever inspires you).

This new pedalboard-friendly, V3 version, still delivers all of the classic H2O sounds you may already love, but it also reaches further into Davy Jones Locker than ever before. Weve now added controls to not only swim between analog Chorus or Vibrato, but weve also added a Tone control and even a Detune switch to take you deep into watery depths that youve always wanted to reach (but were afraid to ask Mom & Dad about). When you dive fully into the Speed, Width and Depth knobs youll be able feel your signal swirl around you in a Leslie-esque eddy, or you can reduce them to find more subdued currents reminiscent of a lazy river thats gently flowing to a relaxed and blissful tonal destination (Ah-h-h-h-h!). The hybrid-analog Echo weve incorporated into this version also has a broad range of delayed colors that should satisfy any musicians pedantic palette. It can transport you from the short, slap-back echoes of that annoying dripping faucet in your bathroom (That your roommate refuses to take responsibility for, Ugh!), to the long mesmerizing depths of tidal waves and textured shimmers. It can encompass your tone with a warm, deep delay or ferry you on to controlled, eternal oscillations that will turn your mind into a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought, cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives (Thank you, Harvey Korman).

In the end, this pedal is merely our interpretation of the ongoing and somewhat soggy struggle to communicate the imperative nature of this and other vital fluids. It is important to remember though, that were not necessarily suggesting that your life or tone depends on the H2O being on your pedalboard, but then again, maybe it does?

Details:

  • Each channel can be set to either True Bypass mode or buffered, via internal switches. The buffered mode utilizes Truetones Pure Tone circuit.
  • Features the custom designed Forever Footswitch rated for 10 million hits. This interacts with relays having gold-plated contacts.
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty even for second or third owners.
  • Separate inputs and outputs so each side of the pedal can be used in a loop device, or midi switcher. Also possible to reverse the order of effects with a patch cable. Just like having 2 pedals, but in 1 housing.
  • Small, pedal board friendly size, with front mounted jacks. Smaller footprint than 2 MXR or similar sized pedals.
  • Comes in a black velvet bag inside the package box.
